A beautifully timeworn antique Swedish svepask, crafted from bent wood and secured with wooden pegs and intricately braided root lacing. The oval box retains its fitted lid, simple arched handle and upright end tabs. Quiet details that reflect traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship.

• Traditional Swedish bentwood construction
• Braided root-laced seams and wooden peg joinery
• Fitted lift-off lid with an arched wooden handle
• Measures approximately 11" long × 7" wide × 4¾" tall to the top of the lid
• Handle adds additional height

Antique condition with surface wear, age-related separation, small holes, darkened areas and irregularities throughout. The lid does not sit completely flush. These details are consistent with its age and handmade construction; please review all photographs carefully.
